PNB Net Banking User Registration for the First Time
Step 1 :- Fill up the form for activating net banking and submit it in your respective branch. You will receive a mail at your registered postal address containing User ID and password.
Step 2 :- Go to PNB website https://netpnb.com/ and click on Corporate Internet Banking or Retail Internet Banking depending on your type of account.
Step 3 :- On the next page, click on ‘New User’.
Step 4 :- Enter your account number on the next page and select ‘Register for Internet Banking’. You can also select ‘Register for Mobile and Internet Banking’ if you want to activate both net banking and mobile banking. Click on Verify.
Step 5 :- If your account number is verified, you will direct to the next page where you will get two options: ‘View only’ and View and Transaction’.
View Only: This option is meant for those users who want to activate net banking just to view the account information mainly transactions in detail. However, this is a restricted option as it does not allow you to make any transaction via net banking.
View and Transaction: This option gives you access to all the options and facilities that you can avail through internet banking. We would recommend you to choose this option unless you are not interested in making any transactions.
Step 7 :- In the next page, you will be asked to enter the details of the debit card issued against that account. You will find all the information printed on your card, except for the ATM password. Click on Continue.
Step 8 :- You are now done with the registration but will need to set the login and transaction password. The same set of passwords will be used to access net banking and carry out any transactions in the future.
Note: The password must strictly follow the guidelines to be accepted as valid. It must contain a minimum of 6 characters and a maximum of 28 characters. The password must contain at least one alphabet, one special character and one number
Step 9 :- When you click on Continue, you will get the message “You have been successfully registered for PNB internet banking service. Your Login is ____”.
Steps for operating PNB Net Banking
PNB Net Banking registration is one time process. Once you have successfully completed the registration, you can login to your net banking account using login ID and password.
Step 1 :- Go to PNB official website www.pnbindia.in to login to your net-banking account.
Step 2 :- Click on ‘Internet Banking Login’ on the right top corner.
Step 3 :- In the next page, you will get two options on the top right corner, Retail Internet Banking and Corporate Internet Banking.
Step 4 :- Click on the appropriate option as applicable in your case. You will be directed to the PNB internet banking login page.
Step 5 :- Enter your PNB net banking User ID in the blank space in front of User ID. Click on Continue.
Step 6 :- In the entered User ID is valid, you will be directed to the next page where you will need to enter the login password.
Step 7 :- You would now be able to see all the available options on your screen.
Step 8 :- To complete any transaction or request, you will need to enter the Transaction Password. At some places, you might also be asked to enter OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Some Important Points:
- Do not reveal your Login Password or Transaction Password to anyone. Also, do not write it anywhere as it can be used by anyone to access your account.
- The Login Password expires after every 360 days while Transaction Password after every 180 days. Thus, you will need to change the same within the Login Password and Transaction Password necessarily after 360 days and 180 days respectively.
- Entering the wrong password for more than 3 times will lock your account. In that case, you will need to contact your branch.
